I’m heading towards using EZD in Reaper where I will also record my audio tracks, but right now I’m just putting drumtracks to stuff I already had started on the NEO that didn’t have drums on them. Once I’m done, I can edit out the front end deadspace in my demo before I master it. It is not that hard to do, once you’ve tried it a few times and you know both of your pieces of equipment. I almost always nail it,and have recorded demos of very long songs that way with ‘no slippage’ over the course of the recorded track. I just count it in and turn one on and then count out the 8 bars with the first one, and then turn on the other right on count one, bar 9.

This is ‘dead space’ time – no music or drums on it. One deadspace click track is 8 bars long, the other 16. Expertly composed and handpicked, high-quality audio files, discover and download stock audio across all genres. What I do is start with a click track ON BOTH set to the same beats per minute. Royalty Free Audio Tracks Thousands of premium, royalty free audio tracks for use in your projects. I do this all the time, running EZD on a SweetWater Creation Station while having my music tracks (Gtrs, keys, vocals) which have been recorded separately on a Tascam 2488Neo. Keep in mind that there may be an offset of notes/MIDI messages between the DAW and the Plugin (example: C2 on the Plugin = C0 on the DAW, PC0 on the Plugin = PC1 on the DAW).So I believe what you are asking is that you want to sync a track in EZD with a track that is on a computer with a track that is located on a different source, like a ‘studio in a box” or stand alone type unit. After this, you can continue to assign preset using the MIDI Mappings window.

If everything worked, you will see a MIDI icon next to the assigned preset: press a note/key twice to assign it to the preset, disable MIDI Learn, and repeat the process with any other preset/parameter you want to assign. Upload any audio file and receive high-quality extracted tracks in a few seconds.
